Short Documentary Film Screening | From Dust We Came

University Baptist Church is excited to host the first screening in Hattiesburg of the short film From Dust We Came. This film follows local musician Drew Young as he sets out on a journey to scatter the ashes of his father at Yellowstone National Park in 2021. Along the way Drew takes stock of their estranged relationship, his own resentment and his powerful choice to forgive. The film will be followed by a panel discussion with the filmmaker and a short set of music. Doors open at 7:00pm and the screening will take place at 7:30pm. Free coffee and childcare will be provided. Donations will be accepted at the door.
