A vice president of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta will be among speakers headlining “Impact Southern Miss: Turning Knowledge into Innovation,” a business and economic development forum presented by the College of Business and the Trent Lott National Center for Excellence in Economic Development and Entrepreneurship at Southern Miss. The event, on Jan. 20 at the Trent Lott Center in Hattiesburg, will feature experts from banking, finance and academia to explore a number of issues and research findings affecting communities and the recovering economy in Mississippi and the Gulf South region.
