Hit the Petal Trails Day

The Petal Area Chamber of Commerce is scheduled to host their “Hit the Petal Trails Day” in celebration of the National Hiking Society’s “National Trails Day” on June 4 at the Petal River Park. During this event, various activities will be available such as advanced mountain bike rides, women’s/beginners/kids trail rides, and a trail running class. There will also be a Birds of Prey presentation by Freedom Ranch, as well as a guided tree identification and nature hike lead by Glenn Hughes with the Mississippi State Extension Service.  The event is free and great for families!
