Free Memory Screenings
The Claiborne at Hattiesburg has partnered with the Memory Center of Hattiesburg Clinic to host free memory screenings on Tuesday, Oct. 27 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The screenings are 15 minutes long and are an effort to help possibly detect early signs of cognitive impairment, related to Alzheimer’s or dementia.
Being a premier retirement community, The Claiborne offers a continuum of care from independent living to assisted living and memory care. Memory care is a specialized and licensed Alzheimer’s and dementia unit.
Registration for the memory screenings is required, so call The Claiborne at Hattiesburg to confirm your spot. The Claiborne is located off of Veteran’s Memorial Boulevard in Hattiesburg, between the YMCA and Timberton Golf Club. To register, call 601.909.2385.
