The 19th Annual DuBard Symposium: Dyslexia and Related Disorders is an opportunity for professionals, students and parents alike to delve deeper into fully understanding the complicated written language disorder of dyslexia. During these two days, participants will attend multiple sessions on topics of interest from experienced speakers of varying fields.
The DuBard Symposium is recommended for general and special education teachers, speech-language pathologists, reading specialists, dyslexia therapists, health care professionals, school psychologists, school administrators, students, parents, and anyone interested in learning more about dyslexia and related disorders.
Thirteen sessions will be available for attendees to select from and cater the event to their specific educational needs and interests. Sample topics include evaluation of learning differences, social competence, dyslexia simulation, dyslexia in Mississippi updates, bullying, building relationships, mobile applications and more.
