The most INTERESTING prizes will be items from former exhibits like a nesting doll\, hand painted rock or a bologna facemask from Oscar Mayer! There will be two Golden Duck's to be found\, which will each come with a $100 Amazon Gift Card as their prize. Duck Hunters are encouraged to wear their most comfortable shoes because the "Ducks" will be located as far as the Lucky Rabbit\, Blooms\, The Depot Coffee House and Main Street Books. \n\n \n\nTwenty of the one hundred and fifty Duck Hunt prizes will be a "free lunch" and a hand potted bowl from Empty Bowls Hattiesburg\, which will be taking place at Main Street Books and GrateFull Soul\, just down the street from the Hattiesburg Pocket Museum. "We want to raise awareness of our local food pantry's important role in our community\, so we will encourage Duck Hunters to end their hunt by participating in the Empty Bowls event\," said Rick Taylor\, Executive Director of the Hattiesburg Convention Commission\, which manages the Hattiesburg Pocket Museum. \n\n \n\n"We do have some rules this year so that more people can enjoy the hunt and have the opportunity to win a prize\," said Taylor. \n\n \n\nDuck Hunt Rules are:\n\n	No searching for "Ducks" prior to 10 a.m. If you are seen doing so (by our secret downtown spies) you will be disqualified from turning in a "Duck".\n	Only ONE "Duck" per person no more than 3 per family! Please leave any other "Ducks' you spot in their hiding place so others can have fun too!\n	"Ducks" are hidden on streets and alleys around the Pocket Museum and as far as Lucky Rabbit\, Blooms\, The Depot Coffee House and Main Street Books.\n	Once you find a "Duck"\, you can return to the Pocket Museum and draw for a prize. You get what you draw\, but feel free to trade with other Duck Hunters.\n	The Duck Hunt ENDS at 12 noon\, sharp! If you find a "Duck" after that time\, your "Duck" is just a duck and is not eligible for a prize.\n\n \n\nFor Duck Hunters needing a little refreshment\, Brady's Snow Cups will be in the Alley selling their sweet treats. The Saenger Theater will be open for access to restrooms\, the Art-O-Mat will be full of fun art and the special October T-Shirt "Release the Quacken" will be available for purchase. \n\n \n\nThe Pocket Alley will be decorated to "WOW" all Landlubbers\, and pirate tattoos will be provided for those wanting to match the theme of the Pocket Museum Exhibit\, the Pocket Theater and the Pocket Art Gallery for the month of October.
