The Petal Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting its 11th Annual Professional Assistant's Luncheon to honor our administrative assistants in the Pine Belt.  Sponsored by Forrest General's Spirit of Women\, this event features a wonderful lunch\, favors\, door prizes\, celebrity waiters and entertainment. \n\n\n\nThe featured speaker is Shellie Rushing Tomlinson.  Shellie's Southern as grits anecdotes and wisdom are delivered with wide-eyed clarity and candor-and a lot of side-splitting humor.  Shellie's goal (in her own words) is to "shine some Southern insight on the obscure"\, and she succeeds with sparkling wit and a real love of her subject.\n\n\n\nThis event is open to the entire community.  Seating is limited and advance registration is required.
