DESCRIPTION:Walk MS is the largest fundraising event for the Mississippi Office of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Walk MS 2010 consists of 8 walk sites across the state of Mississippi. Walk MS is considered the rallying point of the MS movement\, a community coming together to support the estimated 3\,500 individuals affected by multiple sclerosis in the state of Mississippi. The events are about bringing people together to create a world free of multiple sclerosis and serve as a hopeful celebration for all who have been affected by this disease. All money raised from Walk MS will go toward local chapter programs and services for those living with MS which includes financial assistance\, home modification for accessibility\, self-help groups\, retreats\, and educational programs and resources.
