The Pawty will be fun for humans and pets of all ages. There will be beverages for purchase and music and games that will be enjoyed by the entire family. All participants\, including humans\, are encouraged to don a costume for the event. There will be two competitions during the afternoon including a costume contest and a trick contest at a cost of $10 per entrant\, per competition. The trick and costume competitions begin at 1:00 p.m.\, and prizes will be awarded to the winner of each contest. The Pet Parade will begin at 2:00 p.m. and will follow a route around the Historic Saenger Theater. There is no fee to participate in the parade. Every pet must be on a leash throughout the entirety of the event\, and we ask that pet owners bring baggies to clean up after their furry\, scaley or feathered family members.
