DESCRIPTION:Come celebrate with the City of Hattiesburg in Town Square Park as we accept a $25\,000 check from Blue Cross Blue Shield who has designated Hattiesburg as a "health hometown."  The inaugural event\, dubbed "Community Health Day\," begins at 11 a.m.\, immediately following the USM  Homecoming Parade.\n\n\n\nIn support of this event\, we ask that you donate items to promote healthy living throughout the Pine Belt.  These products will be given away during the event\, and your company's name or logo will be placed on the promotional materials for the event.  We are requesting items such as jump ropes\, bicycles\, scooters\, skateboards\, exercise gear\, fitness DVD's\, and a Wii/Xbox.  Restaurants may donate gift cards and fitness clubs memberships.\n\n\n\nIf interested in partnering with us\, please drop your donations off at Hattiesburg area fire stations by 6 p.m.\, on Thursday\, October 20th.
