DESCRIPTION:Get Moving: Dancing in the District will be a fun and informative fitness experience led by certified dance and group fitness instructor Victoria Peters.  Get Moving: Dancing in the District will be held on Saturday\, February 12th at 10:00 a.m. in the Sixth Street Museum District at the Historic Eureka School auditorium located at 410 E. Sixth Street. \n\n \n\nVictoria Peters has worked the past 33 years with non-profit organizations in the areas of community organizing as an advocate for improving quality public schools and getting families healthy spiritually and physically.  She was one of the founders of the "Get Healthy Hattiesburg" city initiative.  Peters is owner of Fit2Empower\, a fitness ministry and Go Fit Club\, a personal training business.  She provides holistic tools and resources for healthy Kingdom living and personal empowerment designed to help families maintain healthy lifestyles. \n\n \n\n"Exercise is important to overall health no matter what life stage you are in\," said Vanessa Molden\, Museum Operations and Education Supervisor for the Hattiesburg Convention Commission.  "This will be a fun and energizing event for individuals of all ages."  "We hope families and friends will encourage each other to come out because it will be a great addition to their weekend plans\," continued Molden.\n\n \n\nGet Moving: Dancing in the District is free and open to the public\, and reservations are not required.  Ms. Peters will discuss the importance of movement followed by a 30-minute group fitness dance session.  Participants are asked to bring their own water. \n\n \n\nCommunity Bank is a sponsor of Black History Month through the Sixth Street Museum District.
