With the addition of the ARM tutors\, the dedicated Neighbors at Hawkins staff\, and consistent support from community volunteers\, the students of Hawkins Elementary are thriving.\n\n\n\n All students selected to participate in the Neighbors at Hawkins Tutoring Program initially scored below grade level standards. Students who received tutoring during a four-month period experienced a 22 percent average increase in reading assessment scores and the number of students scoring in lowest category decreased by half.
