DESCRIPTION:Calling all Lads and Lasses donning their finest Captain or Lady of the Court attire\, the Hattiesburg Zoo will celebrate Pirate Days on July 22nd and 23rd from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.  Bring your Buckos and Mateys for a chance at winning some Booty when you complete the Treasure Hunt.  \n\n \n\n \n\nActivities both days Include:  \n\nRoaming Pirate Encounters   All Day\n\nWalk the Plank   All Day\n\nTreasure Hunt   All Day (Prize Pick Up at Prairie Dog Plaza) \n\n"Tattoo Parlor"   All Day (Lakeview Pavilion)\n\nPirate Games   All Day\n\nPirate Animal Show (Africa Pavilion   11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.\n\nPirate Movies (Asbury)   10:00 a.m.   1:00 p.m. \n\n \n\nAmong the Pirate Faire will be Shiver Me Tenders\, Black Beard's Burgers and Powdered Peg Legs (Funnel Cake Fries)\, and there will be plenty of Grog for Pirates over the age of 21. \n\n \n\nUnless you are in Davy Jones's Locker\, you will not want to miss this Yo-ho-ho of a good time.  Costumes are highly encouraged. No weapons allowed.  Regular admission prices apply for Pirate Days\, and Sea Rovers are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance for a discounted price.  Tickets can be purchased the day of the event at regular admission price.  Annual passes do apply for Pirate Days.
