SUMMARY:African American Military History Museum Celebrating Veterans Day 2023 with Three Events
DESCRIPTION:The African American Military History Museum will once again hold its Veterans Open House on Wednesday\, November 8th from 12:00 noon   2:00 p.m. Light refreshments will be served and there will be a special token of appreciation presented to all veterans in attendance. This event is free of charge and is a come and go event. \n\nThat same morning\, the Museum is proud to assist in sponsoring the annual Hattiesburg High School JROTC Veterans Breakfast\, which will take place at 7 a.m. in the dome on the school's campus.  The breakfast is free of charge and held in conjunction with Hattiesburg's JROTC program. \n\nOn Saturday\, November 11\, 2023\, the African American Military History Museum will open its doors for an evening Veterans' Day Cocktail Social\, which will be held from 7:00   10:00 p.m.  Guests will enjoy food\, cocktails\, museum tours and live music from the Bass Rhythms and Grooves Band.  This ticketed event is being held in partnership with MSG David Brooks and MSG Torrence Green and the 3rd Non-Commissioned Officer Academy (NCOA)\, 154th Regional Training Institute (RTI) Camp Shelby\, MS.  Tickets are $25 per person and can be purchased by calling 601.450.1942.
